My Photography
In 2011, I was the official tournament photographer at four Southeastern junior volleyball tournaments played at Suwanee Sports Academy (SSA) in metro Atlanta. From 2009-2011, I was the club photographer for GA5, a travel volleyball club that plays out of SSA. And from 2010-2011, I was the unofficial photographer for the Gwinnett Majic, a semi-pro basketball team. I am also a contributing photographer to istockphoto, a company that sells stock photography to designers and artists.I take a great deal of pride in getting two things right with my sports photography: nailing the timing of the action, and capturing celebration/jubilation shots that showcase the joy and passion of the athletes I photograph. A really good jubilation shot can have as much impact as a perfectly timed catch, hit, goal, block or kill. I shoot all sports - indoor and outdoor - and my "niche" is indoor volleyball. As someone much smarter than me once said, volleyball is among the most difficult of sports to shoot because the players never possess the ball. That fact, along with indoor lighting, makes shooting volleyball a unique challenge....and one that I truly love. I shoot with all Canon gear, and my lense kit includes a 70-200mm (2.8), a 135mm (2.0), an 85mm (1.8), and a 24mm (1.8)...all great lenses for shooting indoor sports.
Volleyball Packages
Package #1 - Individual Player: $50.00 (a $60.00 Value)
This package offers coverage of one player for one entire match (2-3 games). This includes action photography of every skill the player performs on the court (passing, hitting, etc.) as well as celebration and candid shots. This package has a $60.00 value in my online store. Your $50.00 pre-payment reserves roughly one hour of my time on the court, plus photoshop touch-ups to make your photos look great.
Package #2 - Two Players On Same Team: $80.00 (a $100.00 Value)
Looking for an even greater value? Find a teammate to share your photo shoot with. This package provides coverage of two players on the same team, for one entire match (2-3 games). Again, this includes action photography of all the skills performed by both players, as well as candids and celebration shots. This package has a $50.00 value for each player in my online store.
BOOKING A SHOOT
How To Book A Shoot
1. You can book me in advance to shoot your player, and pre-pay based on the discounted packages listed under the VOLLEYBALL PACKAGES tab. If interested in setting up a booking, just email me at russ_ensleyphotos.com, and I will contact you to discuss the details. To pre-pay, simply mail a check to Russ Ensley, 323 Lake Forest Ct., Lawrenceville, GA 30043.2. A few days after the tournament, I will email you a link to your player's photography, along with a special voucher code. In essence, you will have a "credit" in my online store for the amount you've already pre-paid me, plus a $10.00 discount. To get an idea of the types of products that can be created using your player's image, please visit my digital online store 3. You simply use the voucher code to order the specfic shots or merchandise you want, and I will fulfill your order by producing touched-up, high-res files of only the shots you request. NOTE: THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON UNUSED VOUCHER BALANCES4.
